Throwaway inboxes for testing

By using this service you acknowledge and agree to the following. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Nature of the service

nomail.org.za is a free, unauthenticated, disposable inbox service provided for software testing and development purposes. It is not a replacement for a real email account. No account is required to access any inbox, and no mechanism exists to restrict who may read mail addressed to a given inbox name.

2. No privacy

All inboxes are public. Any person with internet access can view the contents of any inbox simply by typing its name. You must not send, cause to be sent, or expect to receive any information of a confidential, personal, financial, medical, or otherwise sensitive nature via this service.

3. Retention

All messages, attachments, and associated metadata are automatically and irrevocably deleted approximately 24 hours after receipt. There is no backup, no restore, and no mechanism to recover deleted messages.

4. No guarantee of delivery, availability, or integrity

Mail directed to this service may be refused, delayed, silently discarded, truncated, or corrupted. The service may be suspended, modified, or permanently discontinued at any time, with or without notice. The operator does not guarantee uptime, deliverability, message ordering, or the accuracy of any content displayed.

5. Prohibited use

You must not use this service to:

• Conduct, facilitate, or assist any illegal activity under the laws of any jurisdiction in which you or the service operate;
• Harass, defraud, impersonate, or harm any person or organisation;
• Circumvent authentication, verification, or security controls on any system or service you do not own or are not authorised to access;
• Register for, or evade restrictions on, any service whose terms prohibit disposable, temporary, or anonymous email addresses;
• Store, transmit, or receive material that is unlawful, infringing, malicious, or invasive of another's privacy.

6. Monitoring and moderation

The operator reserves the right, but accepts no obligation, to monitor traffic to this service for abuse prevention, and to block senders, delete messages, disable inbox names, or share information with law enforcement where required by law or where the operator reasonably believes abuse has occurred.

7. No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including without limitation any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or freedom from error, virus, or interruption.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the operator, its affiliates, or its contributors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, this service.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator from and against any claim, liability, loss, damage, or expense arising out of your use of the service or your violation of these terms.

10. Governing law

This service is operated from the Republic of South Africa. These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by South African law, and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

11. Changes

These terms may be updated at any time without notice. Continued use of the service after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
